You didn’t think I forgot, did you?
I actually wanted to cover the franchise bit by bit, but I kinda panicked and canceled my planned first post when I realized I no longer had the Dragon Knight 1 OVA. Le sigh. But, I’ve still got plenty to cover, so let’s get it all out in the open!
Megatech, please tell me you don’t still hold the license to this franchise.
One of Elf’s flagship titles is the Dragon Knight series. While nowhere near the earliest ero-RPG (Rance wasn’t the first, but it barely came out before Dragon Knight), Dragon Knight was notable for being an OK dungeon crawler with comparatively great graphics along with really cute character designs. Basically, it was the turning point when ero-RPGs stepped up from crude novelty act to professional medium for delivering erotic content.
I hear it’s better once you’ve held off for a while…
I touched on this a bit back during the transition to the new server… so you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about since my last post was deleted.
Anyway, I learned in November 2015 that legendary Eroge developer Elf Corporation had closed up shop for good the month before. I planned on doing a tribute to Elf, and dammit, I’m a year late, but I’m doing it. What triggered me to do so? The announcement that there will be a new anime adaptation of their classic game Yu-No this year to coincide with the PS4/PSV remake. I am hyped as fuck (and setting myself up for eventual disaster I’m sure).
Hentai Henshin! This week, we’re taking a quick look at one of the most innovative RPG Maker-based hentai games I’ve had the pleasure of playing. Part magical girl, part tokusatsu, Civilian Justice Company is a fun diversion that lays the groundwork for what could potentially be a stronger franchise… but ultimately won’t. But hey, that doesn’t mean we can’t hope for a bigger circle to completely rip it off.
Hmm, Hentai Henshin… I’m tempted to do this theme somewhere down the line.
Heart of Thorns was released a full season ago, and with the advent of Spring comes new beginnings and changes to freshen up the Guild Wars experience for our loyal players. And so, without further ado, let’s take a look into our spring updates.
This is going to be my last Nutaku game for now. Why? I… just haven’t gotten around to any of the others, that’s why. I could have easily quit Peropero Seduction by now, but there’s just a little more I want to get out of that game before I leave. Namely, I want to level one of my cards up to maximum level. I’ve already maxed out one Rare-level card, and… yeah, no H-scene. Just more nakedness. Well, it’s still something.
Anyway, Osawari Island isn’t exactly a card-based game, but it’s probably the closest a Nutaku game comes to a card game, at least out of the ones I’ve played.
Well, the character designs look promising and cohesive at least…
It’s great to be back!
So, last time I covered Nutaku games, I talked about a game I’d been playing for a few months. When I started, the only options available were Lord of Valkyrie and Aigis. I don’t care how much more popular Aigis was, it freakin’ sucked. Oh, it was mechanically a MUCH better game, but it was an RTS game that demanded grinding, perfection, and luck. That and not accidentally closing your tab and completely wasting all the stamina you spent on a mission. I’m never covering that game.
Anyway, since then, Nutaku started offering several more games, many of them being advertised as “card” games. I have yet to find one that I actually consider a card game and not a game that has things labeled as cards.
The first “new” game I tried was PeroPero Seduction. It’s got a lot going for it, but it’s also got some issues…
I don’t think any of this girls are even in the game…
PROMISES WERE MADE!
Okay, so I bet you’re wondering where I’m going with this “Hentai-less Hump Day” thing.
Well, if you’ve looked up as much hentai as I have, you’re bound to have come across these ads promising adult browser games based on the “Big 3” titles of Shonen Jump (though… not quite so much anymore): One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto.
This is going to be a short one, but hopefully a little illuminating.
RPG Maker MV was officially released only a couple of months ago, but the hentai world works quickly. And… sloppily. So far, I’ve played two MV hentai games and am looking forward to one.
So, what happens when I find myself suddenly without the freedom to access my hentai collection for a week? I rely on something I’ve kept ready for just such an emergency. I took a bunch of caps on this game MONTHS ago, knowing one day, I would need them. I didn’t make the proper edits though, so I’ll insert some of the more risque stuff later.
First off, let’s go over something. There’s a website called Nutaku that hosts free online adult games. When I first joined, there were only three of them, and two of those were actually hentai. One of them is Aigis, a game that suffers from a whole host of problems but is infinitely more popular than the game I’ve spent the most time on (compared to other Nutaku games), Lord of Valkyrie.
There are so many places they could have taken this…
Wow, how long has it been?
…3 months? Huh. I had it pegged as longer. LET’S FINISH THIS!
