Why no updates? WHY?!
Blame Guild Wars.
We happened to open up this blog shortly before the Hall of Monuments announcement was made, so now our group basically spends time everyday accomplishing goals in order to complete our halls. Since we have day jobs eating up 8+ hours per day, it’s understandable why the blog gets neglected.
Angel Beats: Character Goods Galore
I picked up an interesting item recently, and was pleased to see it arrived today.
I had originally intended to pick it up on Amazon Japan, but found it sold out before it was even released. I really didn’t go looking for it after that, but when I happened across it on an import site, I couldn’t help but pick it up.
So here’s a look at the goods of Dengeki G’s Festival vol17.
A Certain Magical Index S2 – 01
I hopped on the Index fan bandwagon pretty late. It was only in the last year that I happened to get the first season fansubs from Wisedog. I grabbed the files, and then proceeded to marathon the entire season in about two days. The end of season 1 left me in anticipation of season 2 (nothing announced at the time). I made it about halfway through Railgun before stopping. Railgun was alright, and Kuroko’s lesbian antics were hilarious, but it just did not have the same feel to it.
Iron Man – 01 Review
Let me say this before I delve into the review for the first episode of the new Iron Man anime. Out of all of us here at Apoc Cheesecake, I watch the least amount of anime – well modern anime at least. I’m a child of anime from the late 80s and early 90s. Cousins used to send me VHS tapes of DBZ eps they recorded off TV. Robotech got me into Macross. Then there was the boom of dubbed anime on network TV with Ronin Warriors and Sailor Moon.

The first week of Fall 2010 is done and I finally found some time to sample a few shows that have been on my radar. Like RPG, I will be listing what I have seen, my thoughts on it, and if I plan to keep watching it or blog about it.
