I was going to write about Witch Craft Works 05, but then this episode happened.
My body was not ready.
Warning, there be spoilers here.
It’s pointless to try and summarize Kill La Kill. This anime is nearly perfect in its execution, and I don’t want to make anything seem less amazing than it is in an attempt to sum things up. So, I’ll just run through some of my favorite scenes with my reactions.
I enjoy the moments when Satsuki is alone with her closest comrades. We get to see that (somewhat) softer side that she has for the people she relies on. They all act like she’s the unshakable center of their world, but she clearly knows she’s be nowhere without them.
I just don’t see how Gamagoori and Mako aren’t considered a destined pair by everyone at this point. The scenes between him and her before now were always fun, and now we get to see him get the same treatment from her entire family?
Watching Gama and Mako’s family was just a treat.
Satsuki and the others’ toast was one of those “shit is going to get very very real” moments I’ve been anticipating the entire show.
I knew something amazing was going to happen in the stadium.
